In just a few steps you can enjoy the security and convenience of managing your accounts online anytime, anywhere from any computer with a secure Internet connection. The application process is easy to follow using the steps listed below.
Step 1 - Complete an application
- Complete the HSBCnet Customer Application Form depending on which service package you would like to apply for. (The E-Channels Application Form is a Smart Form PDF and works best with Adobe Reader v10 and above.)
- Commercial and Business Banking Package (PDF, 3.34MB)
By applying for this HSBCnet package you will have these services:- View account information of accounts held with any HSBC branch in Malta.
- Access to all transaction types including: Inter-account transfers, priority payments, Eurozone payments and bill payments.
- Corporate and International Package (PDF, 3.34MB)
By applying for this HSBCnet package you will have these services:- View account information of accounts held with any HSBC branch in Malta and abroad.
- Access to all transaction types including: Inter-account transfers, priority payments, Eurozone payments and bill payments.
- Added services including:
- File Upload which refers to the ability to transmit bulk payment instructions to the Bank, typically for salary payments.
- Report Writer which gives you the ability to create customised reports and with Automated File Delivery you will be able to receive them in your inbox on the day and at the time that you need them.
- Commercial and Business Banking Package (PDF, 3.34MB)

Step 2 - Submit your Identification and Verification documentation
In compliance with local regulations, HSBC Malta requires verified identification documents for HSBCnet users with authorisation entitlements on accounts domiciled in Malta.
- Submit your Identification Document. Refer to Acceptable documents for Owners and Key Controllers who are individuals section (PDF, 100KB) for further details on the type of document which needs to be provided by the user and instructions for obtaining certification of your documents.
- Every payment authoriser must also complete the HSBCnet Involved party form (PDF. 172KB).
Step 3 - Submit your application
- Deliver your completed application and supporting documents to your Relationship Manager or by post at:

Step 4 - Receive Registration Email and Obtain your Security Device
- Nominated Initial System Administrators will receive a welcome email including the allocated username and a one-time Authentication Code
- When logging in for the first time, the Initial System Administration will have the opportunity to change their username and create the Memorable Answers and Password. Initial System Administrator will also have to attach the Security Device to the user by inputting the Serial Number found at the back at the Security Device and an Authentication code generated via the device itself. (Step-by-step instructions are available on screen)
- Security Devices will be delivered to the nominated Initial System Administrator by post and users will be able to log in and nominate new users.
Step 5 - Training
- You can also access current User Guides, Video Tutorials, Quick Guides and webinars. Log in to HSBCnet and access the Learning Centre tab at the top right of the screen.

Already a customer?
Need to make changes to your HSBCnet Service?
- Existing HSBCnet customer who wishes to make any changes such as adding or deleting accounts, nominating new System Administrators or change the daily transaction limit to the already setup HSBCnet service, will need to complete the HSBCnet Amendment Form.
- If your change include the registration of a new System Administrator, fill in this HSBCnet Amendment Form (PDF, 459KB).
- For any other changes, fill in this HSBCnet Amendment Form (PDF, 495KB).
Need to add an additional company associate on an existing HSBCnet profile?
- Existing HSBCnet profile owner can add an additional company associate to their HSBCnet portfolio. The Letter of Authority' (PDF, 104KB) will need to be filled in by the account holder.

Need to cancel the HSBCnet service?
- Existing HSBCnet profile owner who would like to cancel the service, will need to submit the E-Channel Termination notice (DOC, 55KB).

Need to order more security devices?
- To order more security devices the Initial System Administrators will need to log onto www.HSBCnet .com and place an order via the Administration Tool/User Management/Security Device Management
